WHAT IS KUBB?

KUBB is a tactical party game from the Far North and has enjoyed great

popularity there for centuries. Today, it is also well-known in Switzerland, where

championships are already held. The game is in vogue and enjoys great demand.

GAME PRINCIPLE AND AIM OF THE GAME

⁄ ⁄ ⁄ Two teams compete against each other. A team consists of at least one to a

maximum of six people. The players always attempt to knock down the “Kubbs”

(wooden blocks) of the other side with throwing sticks. The King, which stands

in the middle of the playing field, may only be hit last. Whoever has first knocked

down all of the other side’s Kubbs and the King, wins the game.
